Sophia Cadogan

Sophia Cadogan began performing stand-up just last year and already she has opened for Stephen Mullan (Ouch and Yeah, Yeah, Yeah), shared the bill with Deirdre O’Kane and Justine Stafford at Funny Women on Whelan’s main stage. She is currently a finalist in Bray Comedy Festival’s ‘Best New Act’ competition, as well as performing regularly in all of Dublin’s Comedy clubs (Sin é, International Bar, Ha’penny, In Stitches, Notions, Harbour Bar Bray +more), including booking a full week at the Craic Den. She is currently developing her debut solo show ‘Princess Melancholy’, a preview of which is programmed in the Scene + Heard Festival of New Work in February 2024. Sophia plans to develop this into a full hour which she can bring to Edinburgh Fringe and Dublin Fringe.
